Allen Brooks is an internationally acclaimed photographer whose prolific career spans over five decades. As a professional photographer, he has owned studios in Chicago IL as well as Westland MI and has been judged twice as one of Michigan's Top Ten Photographers by the Professional Photographers of Michigan. He has been active in both professional and civic organizations, and in 1989 received the Business Person of the Year Award.
His award winning fine art photography has been exhibited at the Lawrence Street Gallery in Ferndale MI, Padzieski Art Gallery in Dearborn MI, Livonia Camera Club, Livonia Exhibition of Fine Arts, Greater Detroit CCC, Canton Fine Arts Exhibition, Three Cities Art Show, Northville Juried Fine Art Show, Scarab Club, Heritage Hospital, as well as the Photography Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City OK. In 2009 he had two one-man exhibits: one at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn MI, and the other at the Village Theater in Canton MI.
