Plymouth Characters Cemetery Walks

Meet and greet some of the characters from Plymouth's past at Riverside Cemetery during the Plymouth Historical Museum's "Plymouth Characters" Cemetery Walk on Friday, October 29.

Hear the tales of Plymouth's ghosts, such as the spurned wife of Phil Markham (inventor of the Markham Air Rifle), E. J. Penniman (banker and one of those present at the founding of the Republican Party in Jackson), and Civil War soldiers Willard Roe and Aiken Holloway.

Walks begin at both 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. from near the cemetery's mausoleum. Refreshments will be available at the cemetery following the walk, supplied by Suburban Harvest of Plymouth. Tickets are $10 per person in advance or $15 at the Cemetery and can be purchased on the Museum's website (www.plymouthhistory.org) using PayPal or at the Plymouth Historical Museum. The entrance to Riverside Cemetery is on Plymouth Road between the Courthouse Grille and the 35th District Court Building.
