PHOTOS: Penn Theatre Marks Opening Day With Baseball Classic

Nonprofit theater screens 'Pride of the Yankees' to mark start of baseball season.

Baseball season is under way and the got into the swing of Opening Day festivities in the Metro Detroit area Thursday by screening Pride of the Yankees, the first of its April .

The film depicts the life story of baseball legend Lou Gehrig, who fell terminally ill during a Hall of Fame career in which he played a then-record 2,130 consecutive games.
