Rock Concerts Come to Compuware Arena

Hollywood Undead, Five Finger Death Punch among national acts coming to Plymouth Township arena this season.

is getting ready to rock in November and December.

Three rock concerts are set to hit the Plymouth Township arena before the end of the year.

The arena previously hosted mash-up artist Girl Talk in March, and arena manager Mike Henry said in a news release that based on the success of that show, he's looking to book more concerts in the future.

  • On Nov. 9 at 5:25 p.m., Hollywood Undead and Asking Alexandria come to the arena. Hollywood Undead will be supporting its newest release, American Tragedy, while British band Asking Alexandria is supporting Reckless and Relentless.   • On Nov. 26 at 8 p.m., Bassnectar will take the stage at Compuware Arena. Fronted by musician Lorin Ashton, the band plays a diverse mix of music and will be supporting its latest album, Divergent Spectrum. Tickets are $32 for advance sales or $35 the day of the show.   • On Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m., Five Finger Death Punch will bring its Share the Welt Tour to Compuware Arena, along with All That Remains and Hatebreed. Five Finger Death Punch will be supporting its latest, American Capitalist. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for advance sales or $30 the day of the show.  According to the news release, Compuware Arena seats 4,500 for concerts.

"It offers us more flexibility in the marketplace," Blair McGowan, who owns the Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac and helps book Compuware Arena, said in the news release. "It gives us more opportunities to find the right venue for live music."
