Creative Fall Containers

When the weather cools and pumpkins color the landscape, it's time to create gorgeous fall containers for your outdoor spaces. Container gardens aren't just for summer. Fall is a wonderful time to update a container garden or start a new one using plants that prefer the cooler temperatures. Emphasize the bounty of autumn by packing your fall container garden with a variety of plants such as mums, pansies, grasses, or even colorful kale and cabbage. Pumpkins, gourds, dried colorful corn or corn stalks displayed next to your fall container will also add an extra splash of seasonal color.

Looking to bring a bit of autumn indoors?  Do it!  Fall is a great time to bring in warm, rich and cozy colors.  Use hues of chocolate brown and golden yellow to burnt orange and lipstick red to create a beautiful indoor container for your foyer with the same or similar plants that can last until Thanksgiving.
