PCEP's 88.1 Hosts Graduation Marketplace on March 28

The New 88.1 hosts Graduation Marketplace for families planning a graduation party for their son or daughter.

When I graduated from Salem High School in 1985, my parents planned a fairly simple open house for family and friends to celebrate the special occasion.

I had it fairly easy because my mom handled almost all the details.  I think I gave her the name of some friends to invite and helped clean around the house before the big event.

Many parents are getting ready to experience that same planning my mom handled.  As you get ready for the graduation of your son or daughter, The New 88.1 is hosting a special event to help you in your planning.

Graduation Marketplace is a showcase of all things exciting and essential for planning a successful graduation party. Participating vendors will include everything from caterers to party rentals.   Whether you are planning a gathering at your home or at an area banquet hall, this is an event you cannot afford to miss.  There will also be complimentary food and cake samples.

Graduation Marketplace is Wed. March 28, from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Salem High School Cafeteria (46181 Joy Rd., Canton).

The free event is for the parents of graduating seniors and pre-planning juniors from Plymouth-Canton and throughout metro Detroit.  A portion of event proceeds will benefit The New 88.1, the student radio station for the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools.

Registration information is at TheNew88.com.
