Old World Olive Press Teams with Celebrity Chefs to Raise Money for Breast Cancer Charity

Twice Baked Twins, celebrity chefs, will hold a book signing and free tasting at Old World Olive Press in downtown Plymouth on Sunday.

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month draws to a close, Old World Olive Company (OWOC) is partnering with Celebrity Chefs and TV personalities, Judy Vig and Joy Paoletti, also known as the Twice Baked Twins, to raise money and awareness for The Pink Fund.

The identical twins Michigan’s own, OWOC have planned a series of “Kitchen Table” books for 2014, including "The Judy and Joy of Pasta," and "The Judy and Joy of Olive Oil." The photo and recipe books are sponsored by OWOC and have the twins' signature of approach to recipes

sponsored by OWOC, have their signature Judy and Joy of Approach to recipes where Paoletti makes a traditional version of a recipe and Vig makes the shortcut, cheaters version.

The Twice Baked Twins will hold a book signing and free tasting at Old World Olive Press in downtown Plymouth from 12-1:30 p.m. on Sunday and 10 percent of all proceeds to benefit The Pink Fund.

The Pink Fund, founded in 2006 by breast cancer survivor, Molly MacDonald, provides individuals in active treatment with up to 90 days of financial assistance to cover non-medical expenses, such as health insurance premiums, housing, transportation and utilities. The Pink Fund helps to meet basic needs and decrease stress levels, helping breast cancer patients strengthen their fight to improve survivorship outcomes and quality of life.
