Plymouth Whalers, United Way to Honor Veterans, Active Military Members on Saturday
Whalers face off against Kitchener Rangers on Saturday at Compuware Arena.
The and Plymouth Whalers hockey team will host a Salute to Heroes on Saturday when the Whalers face off against the Kitchener Rangers at in Plymouth Township.
All four branches of the Armed Forces will be honored at the game, which
begins at 7:05 p.m. After the first period, local representatives of the military
branches will receive certificates of thanks.
Active and veteran soldiers in uniform or with Military ID will be admitted to the game free. Discounted $10 tickets are available for family members.

Fans at the game will have the chance to show their appreciation by writing postcards to soldiers to thank them for their service.
