According to an email from Plymouth Mayor Dan Dwyer, the National Vietnam Veterans Association is developing a photo story book of U.S. men and women who were lost in the Vietnam War.
When completed, he said, visitors to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C. will be able to see a photo and story for each of the killed soldiers. Dwyer said there are 2,663 names of Michigan soldiers on the wall (2,662 men and one woman) and organizers have gathered about half of the stories.
Still, there are three soldiers from Plymouth whose photos and stories have not yet been collected:
- SP4 Harry E. Baker Jr.
- CPL Richard Allen Larrick
- CWO Harry Franklin Zalesny
