2. Learn to brew at Liberty Street today

Those wishing to learn to brew can come to the loading dock in the rear of this Saturday starting at 9 a.m. to see demonstrations of various brewing techniques presented by the Sons of Liberty Homebrew Club. Whether a noobie brewer or self proclaimed expert, aspiring brewers will be able to learn something by watching and asking questions. This event coincides with the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) and the annual Learn to Homebrew Day – the brewery will have hot dogs and snacks for those that want to learn the trade.

1. Super Jess 5K is Sunday at P-CEP

The Plymouth-Canton Educational Park’s National Honor Society will host its second Super Jess 5K at 8 a.m. Sunday at the park. This event was created in honor of 16-year-old P-CEP student, Jesse Lindlbauer, who suffered a traumatic brain injury after a sinus infection turned into an abscess, which ruptured. The Super Jess 5K run was created in order to bring the community support to the family and raise money to help defray medical expenses.
