Bella Mia Enjoys New, Larger Location

After spending eight years at its location on Forest Avenue, Bella Mia has moved to a new location - right down the street.

Sarah Stobbe, who owns the store along with her mother Arlette Stobbe, said the move came at a good time because they were looking for a larger space and it was an opportunity to do a store makeover. 

Bella Mia is now located at 448 Forest, in the former Bagel Fragel location. The move was completed in early July, however the store just celebrated with a ribbon cutting last week. 

"We're really happy in that space," Sarah Stobbe said. "We love being right around the corner from our other store, Bella Mia Dressed Up, so we can jump back and forth and our customer can jump back and forth a little bit easier. That's another benefit to us moving up the street there."

According to Stobbe, the new store caters to a larger crowd.

"The new store just a little bit more mature than our old store," she said. "We have things that span a larger age group than we did before. And our updated look is a little more rustic. It's reflected in the way we decorated inside - and our new sign is on an old wood plank that we got up North. We did sort of a more masculine feel - more of a global feel."
