Chambers Find Perfect After-Hours Blend

First joint after-hours gathering of a hit for three business networks serving Plymouth, Plymouth Township and Canton Township.

The first joint after hours gathering between Canton Chamber of Commerce and the Plymouth Community Chamber of Commerce appears to have been a hit.

At least 100 – and possibly two dozen more – crowded into Plymouth ROC Thursday evening, along with members of a third business network, organized by realtor Bruce Webb, which meets at the restaurant each Thursday.

Teri Fry, the event manager for the Plymouth-Plymouth Township chamber, bustled about the room, looking pleased. She said so many attended, someone had to get more name labels.

Renee Merckx, owner of the Canton-based long-term care insurance company, echoed many there when she said "They need to do this quarterly and invite Northville Chamber of Commerce, too."
