Former Red Wings goaltender Chris Osgood will be at the grand opening of the DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan Specialty Center in Canton.

DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan will hold an open house noon to 3 p.m. Sunday for those in and near Canton to celebrate the grand opening of Children’s Hospital of Michigan Specialty Center - Canton.

Former Red Wings player and Plymouth resident Chris Osgood will sign hockey pucks and attendees will get a sneak-peek of the Children’s Hospital’s America’s Thanksgiving Parade float.

Visitors to the new facility, 45250 Cherry Hill Road, can support the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation by bringing a new toy to fill the parade float, which will then be donated to patients and children.
