Dick Scott Offers Expanded Showroom, Amenities After Renovation

Automotive dealership adds about 5,000 square feet of interior space, mostly to showroom.

Visitors to the auto dealership in Plymouth, 684 W. Ann Arbor Road, might find themselves more at home after the car dealership unveiled its showroom expansion and waiting room.

The project, which gives room for the dealership to carry Chrysler and Jeep in addition to its existing Dodge brand, began with its September 2011 groundbreaking and added at least 5,000 square feet — mostly in showroom space — to the business. The project was completed in March.

"It's a little bit more inviting to customers," said Nichole Scott, director of dealer operations at the business. She said the new space allows for a refreshment station, children's play area and larger lounge for customers.

"We just enclosed all that in and made it bigger," Scott said.

The business cut a ribbon on the new location last week with the Plymouth Community Chamber of Commerce.
