The Great Lakes Chili Cookoff features a red chili, green chili and salsa competition that is recignized by the International Chili Society. Participants compete for a place in the 2011 World Championship Chili Cookoff. The event is free to attend and attendees can purchase samples of the competition chili for $1 or a bowl for $4.
Other events include the Restaurant Chili Challenge, an motorcycle show, live entertainment food vendors and more.
