Just Baked Offers Obama, Romney Cupcakes

Bakery, other area businesses aim to make Election Day sweeter for local voters.

Just Baked, 41747 Ford Road in Canton, is getting into the Election Day spirit.

The bakery is offering cupcakes today featuring President Barack Obama, the Democratic donkey symbol, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and the Republican elephant symbol.

The cupcakes, featuring faces of the two candidates, have sold well today but sales have favored the Mitt Romney-themed cupcake, employees said.

Businesses offer free swag for voters

Additionally, many local businesses are offering rewards for voters on Election Day.

Blockbuster Video, with a location in Canton, is offering its 99-cent rentals for free today.

Starbucks is offering free "Indivisible" bracelets when customers show their "I Voted" sticker. Starbucks has locations in both Plymouth and Canton. Check the map for locations.

Tim Hortons will offer a free doughnut when customers buy any beverage and show their ‘I Voted’ sticker on Election Day. Tim Horton's has a location in Plymouth and two locations in Canton.
