Photos: Showcase Taste of Plymouth Draws Big Crowds

Restaurants, businesses give samples at event at the Inn at St. John's.

The 2012 Showcase Taste of Plymouth on Monday at drew one of the event's largest-ever crowds as attendees sampled food and products from local businesses.

The event, hosted by the Plymouth Community Chamber of Commerce, attracted a diverse selection of vendors such as , , and , who arrived with product samples in tow ranging from sweets, hummus and ribs to Plymouth Whalers hockey cards.

The chamber also used the event to award five $1,000 scholarships to local students. The organization also recognized volunteers of the year from the community's many service organizations.

Chamber President Wes Graff said the event was a huge success, drawing both large crowds and a variety of exhibitors.
