Plymouth Offers Shuttle Service for Concours d'Elegance

Service to provide access between downtown, Old Village and the Inn at St. John's.

Visitors to this weekend’s auto show should find it easy to navigate their way around town, thanks to a free shuttle service.

The shuttle, a partnership between the Plymouth Downtown Development Authority, Old Village Association and Concours d’Elegance, will run between downtown, in Plymouth’s Old Village and , where the Concours d’Elegance is taking place, according to John Buzuvis, director of business operations and special projects for the Plymouth Downtown Development Authority.

“What we wanted to do was provide people a way to get downtown,” he said, noting that hotels in the area will be full of out-of-town visitors this weekend. The shuttle, he said, will allow visitors to have easy access to shopping, dining and entertainment downtown and in the Old Village.

The shuttle will run from 10 a.m.-midnight Saturday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Buzuvis said.

“(The shuttle) is just to make (visitors) feel welcome in our community,” Buzuvis said, adding they’ll have a “quick way to get to the great historical village and downtown and take advantage of everything those two venues have to offer.”
