After more than 60 years in business, S&W Hardware will close its doors for good.
According to an article on The Plymouth Observer, the store was sold last week to a group of local investors and will close within two months.
Owner Fred Smith told the Observer that it's time for him to retire. His wife, Barb, said, "It's exciting. It's something we've been talking about for a long time."
The article states the purchasers plan to remodel the building into storefront offices that will then be leased.
