I would like to see a young professional’s apartment complex with amenities like a sunbathing roof-top picnic area with grills, a well appointed gym and a kid's club day-care facility.

how about a nice inexpensive breakfast restaurant - NO coney island!
Angela Nolan September 18, 2012 at 12:57 PM
A parking lot.
Dana Rybicki September 18, 2012 at 02:39 PM
Parking would be ideal. If a structure is considered, nothing over one story.....please!
Mike September 18, 2012 at 03:08 PM
Have you been to the Omelette & Waffle Cafe?
Mike September 18, 2012 at 03:10 PM
Wouldn't a structure that is not over 1 story just be a.....lot?
Mike September 18, 2012 at 03:25 PM
I think a store/residential combo similar to the building with Panera & Starbucks would be good. I'd just suggest housing a little less upscale than that Panera building.

A small hotel would be a good idea.
Bruce September 18, 2012 at 08:23 PM
Indoor shooting range and firearms shop. (now who disagree with that?)
stayaloft September 18, 2012 at 08:38 PM
Not me!
frank September 19, 2012 at 12:00 AM
strip club.
Bryan Bentley (Editor) September 19, 2012 at 02:19 AM
It would be cool if it was big enough to have indoor bow shooting as well, but that's probably asking too much...
Robin Moore September 19, 2012 at 02:37 PM
a strip club????? No offense, but I don't think a strip club would be a good idea thing for that area. Just saying. How about a used book store or something in that area, where it could be more useful for the good of the public. Just saying.

I would sincerely hope Frank was kidding...
John McKay (Editor) September 19, 2012 at 03:10 PM
I could see that working. Even something along the lines of the apartments at Cherry Hill Village, where it's rentals but catered to young professionals.
Bruce September 19, 2012 at 07:41 PM
A local organic food grocer or co-op.
Robin Moore September 21, 2012 at 12:15 AM
I sure hope he was too John. Because I can't imagine a strip club being any good for this township. Actually, I think it would be horrible for a strip club to be placed somewhere in our township. What would happen to the kids minds when they see something like that in full view like that? I would hate to think about it that's for sure.
Bruce September 21, 2012 at 01:08 AM
I miss the independent record store.
frank September 21, 2012 at 01:39 AM
Why dont we add a wagon wheel repair shop while we are at it. Used books? Who reads books anymore. And a record shop? Do records exist anymore? Both are antiquated ideas.
frank September 21, 2012 at 01:40 AM
Full view? Tasteful gentlemans club is definately what this town needs.
Bruce September 26, 2012 at 05:01 PM
Jersey Mike's Sub sandwich.
Dana Rybicki September 27, 2012 at 01:23 PM
@ Mike: A "structure" (other than a parking lot). I feel your pain Robin :O)

How about a nice skate board park for the kids for the summer and nice outdoor skate rink in the winter. Something for recreation. We have enough empty retail and apartment buildings.
