CANTON RESIDENT APPOINTED BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

J.R. Thompson Company (JRT) announces the appointment of Rick Covault to the position of business development manager at the creative marketing communications firm. He will be leading JRT’s new business development efforts in the automotive, industrial, business-to-business and consumer products and service industries. Covault has 20 years of executive management experience, most recently running his own advertising agency, Ballyhoo Communications, and as past president and partner at Regan Marketing Communications. He brings a broad range of skills to Farmington Hills-based JRT including business management, strategic planning, media planning and buying, plus 30 years of sales and client service management.

Covault, a resident of Canton, holds a Bachelor of Integrated Studies and an Associate of Applied Science (printing) from Ferris State University.
