Kindness in Canton

Everyday acts of kindness appreciated! Who do you appreciate today?

I have pretty much lived, eaten, shopped, and used services in Canton for the past 25 years and have met and been served by many nice people. While it is easy to remember the bad experiences you have, let's not overlook the good! So...here is an "appreciation blog" to some of the wonderful people in Canton.

Thanks to the ladies at  for their years of smiles, kindness and help!  Tanya at , your service was exceptional!  Trina at ...very nice and friendly!  Thanks to Jeff at for helping get down a shelf last fall... Nina at the for her help with Snail Mail, and also enlisting her kids to make us cards. A shout out to the polite waiter at who always gives us good service and looks like my nephew, Bruce.

Thanks to the young lady that helped me decide what to buy at ; love the ladies at (although don't ask me if I want to apply for a charge card...I have one!!!) . ..thanks to Madeline in the kitchen at the for her show of appreciation and kindness when I drop off Snail Mail...thanks to Cheryl at the front desk of who collects Snail Mail cards for us and lets me know when I have a pick-up. Shout out to the very friendly people at , , .

Thanks to the people who hold a door open for me when my hands are full, or let me pull out of a parking lot in front of them on Ford Road. A kindness shout out to Zack and Christopher at , to the cashiers and baggers at  and to Janet Brady for letting us use the Parkview Room at the Summit for Snail Mail get-togethers.

And...a big shout out to the generous people in Canton who make cards for Snail Mail For Seniors on a regular basis:  Elaina, Venora, Grace, Sue, Joan, Barb, Maria, Kay, Hollyann, Jessica, PCEP Key Club, various school kids, and everyone who attends the card making sessions. I apologize if I missed someone...

I am sure there are many more...and I'll do another "appreciation blog" sometime. I just felt it was time to let people know that their acts of kindness and smiles do matter. I will do my part to pay it forward also.  :)
