Canton's D & M Art Studio Hosts Mother's Day Event

Original fine artwork by some of the area’s finest female artists will be on display at the 4th annual Ladies Dillenbeck Art Exhibition at D & M Art Studio during the month of May.  Hosted by Sharon Lee Dillenbeck, owner/operator of D & M Art Studio, this exhibition will once again assemble recent original works of art including Dillenbeck's work and those of her daughters Erin and Kristin, her sister Donna Knight, some of Dillenbeck’s award-winning students including Marilyn Meredith, Vivian Hewitt, Elizabeth Gullikson and Deana Salhaney and world renowned artist Kay Masini.

Meet these award winning artists at a FREE champagne and dessert reception scheduled to be held on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, 2014 from 2-4 p.m.  Bring the family to meet the artists and receive 50% off on art supplies.  Support the artists by purchasing an original watercolor, oil, acrylic, charcoal, pastel or mixed media.  The exhibition will be open during store hours and will continue through the end of May.

For the past 23 years, D & M Art Studios has been serving metro-Detroit’s aspiring and established artists by providing instruction and gallery space, as well as providing a local source for art supplies.  D & M offers one of the few local, grass roots businesses that survived during the recent tough economic times.  This popular studio is one of the few local businesses to offer summer art camps for young people, home schooling, assistance with preparing college entrance portfolios and much more.
