A Miracle League Baseball Field removes barriers that prevent children with mental and physical special needs from playing baseball. Buddies assist Players and bring enthusiasm and good spirit to each game. Players enter the field and become Champions. They become part of a Team and find Friends. Miracle League Baseball is Hope, Determination and a display of Human Spirit that is unequaled. And of course … there’s baseball.
One of the Miracles of Miracle League Baseball has been the overwhelming generosity and caring of so many people. It’s been amazing and heartwarming to see so many young people and volunteers and spectators on that little field on Theodore Street.
In addition to building the field and baseball games, your financial support, time, and enthusiasm made it possible to offer many special events in 2012 at no cost to MLP Players and their Families. Your support benefits all the MLP Players and their families during Baseball Season and makes all Special Events free of charge for MLP Families: (Easter Egg Hunt, Family Picnic, Participating in the 4th of July Parade, Trick or Treating and Family Holiday Party)
