5. Jazz keyboardist Nate Harasim performs tonight at Sam's Club lot in Canton

Jazz Keyboardist Nate Harasim is a new addition to Canton's summer jazz series. Harasim is both an accomplished musician and a producer. 2011 proved to be a pivotal year with the release of “Rush”, a powerful and energetic musical blend. Be sure to check out his electrifying show that delivers quite a “Rush.” Harasim will be performing at 7 p.m. tonight at in Canton.

4. Concert to benefit Canton Partnership for the Arts and Humanities

People International presents "" tonight, a benefit performance for the Canton Partnership for the Arts and Humanities. The performance will take place at the in Canton at 7:30 p.m. tonight. 3. Worried about parking for Art in the Park? Take a shuttle

For an event that draws about 300,000 to downtown Plymouth each year, it would expected that public parking will be scarce.

Fortunately for visitors to this weekend, a free shuttle service will make its return to the festival. Attendees can park at the former Visteon plant (current ACH plant) at Sheldon and M-14 and take the free shuttle to , in the heart of the downtown activity.

2. Patch has three advertising manager jobs, one associate local editor job open

Patch.com Michigan wants to hire three "rock star" advertising managers with local online advertising sales experience.

The advertising hires will work primarily within a group of clustered Patch sites. The three positions available will manage clusters of sites across southeast Michigan. Interested? Send your resume to Michigan Regional Publisher Rob Cucheran at Robert.Cucheran@patch.com. The clusters are:

  • Fenton, Hartland, White Lake, Highland and Dexter

1. Art in the Park in Plymouth starts today!

Check out one of Michigan's largest art festivals this weekend (beginning today) in downtown Plymouth. , which runs July 13-15 in , offers art, activities and entertainment throughout the weekend.

The following roads are closed until 8 p.m. July 15.

  • MAIN STREET – From Church Street to Wing Street.  Local business traffic will be allowed southbound from Church to Fralick Street.
  • ANN ARBOR TRAIL – From Harvey to Union/Deer
  • PENNIMAN – From Harvey to Union Street
  • FOREST AVENUE – From Ann Arbor Trail to Wing - may close at 6 p.m.
