Trivia: The Plymouth Whalers are playing an outdoor game at Comerica Park on Dec. 29 at the Hockeytown Winter Festival as part of an OHL doubleheader. What are the other three teams, and what are the team matchups?

Yesterday's trivia answer: Before the opening of , the Detroit Whalers played the tiny Oak Park Ice Arena and the large Palace of Auburn Hills.

4. Plymouth City Commission meeting tonight at Firehouse Playground

The Plymouth City Commission will meet at 7 p.m. tonight at Firehouse Playground at Holbrook and Spring in Plymouth. The meeting will be outdoors. On the agenda: Appointment of the director of municipal services.

2. Patch has three advertising manager jobs, one associate local editor job open

Patch.com Michigan wants to hire three "rock star" advertising managers with local online advertising sales experience.

The advertising hires will work primarily within a group of clustered Patch sites. The three positions available will manage clusters of sites across southeast Michigan. Interested? Send your resume to Michigan Regional Publisher Rob Cucheran at Robert.Cucheran@patch.com. The clusters are:

  • Fenton, Hartland, White Lake, Highland and Dexter 
  • Royal Oak, Troy, Clawson, Berkley and Ferndale

1. Enjoy Monday Night Music in the Village tonight in Canton

The shady and picturesque lawn of the Historic Cherry Hill School will play host to a different musical act each Monday night in July. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a free concert with family & friends! Guests are encouraged to bring lawnchairs. July 16 will feature the  band The Fun Guys, specializing in classic rock tunes from the '50s thru the '80s. Cruisin' Custom Coneys will be available for purchase
