3. Plan ahead: Relay for Life in Canton is May 19-20

An American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event will be held May 19-20 at in Canton. Relay for Life is a 24-hour relay-style walk to raise funds to fight cancer. Money raised goes toward research funding, resources for the cancer.org website and 24-hour hotline, Hope Lodge, which provides lodging assistance for cancer patients seeking treatment outside of their city, TLC kits for hair loss, rides to treatment, endless support, and more. 2. Plymouth-Canton summer camp registration opens

1. Compuware Arena Drive-In opens Friday

Outdoor movie season is upon us, as opens its drive-in theater this weekend for the first of two sneak-peek weekends before it begins its nightly operations after the Memorial Day weekend. There will be double-feature screenings at dusk Friday and Saturday on the drive-in's three screens. Movie listings have not yet been announced.
