Fans of Doris Day and Jimmy Stewart have been able to enjoy each iconic star's hits during the past month at the in downtown Plymouth. This week, they can see both stars light up the same screen when The Man Who Knew Too Much comes to the Penn at 7 p.m. Thursday. All seats are $3.

4. Music in the Air begins Friday at Kellogg Park

The summer concert season in downtown Plymouth kicks off Friday when the Buggs Beddow Band plays at . The music begins at 7 p.m. and is free to the public. The concerts are put on by the , and the full 2012 schedule can be found on the DDA website.

3. School board meets tonight

The Plymouth-Canton Community Schools Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. tonight at the in downtown Plymouth. Among the topics being discussed: Lighting at and security cameras for the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park.

2. Plymouth-Canton Extended Day program accepting applications

Plymouth-Canton Community Schools' Extended Day program will be holding a lottery for the Kids’ Time and Club Connection programs for the 2012-2013 school year, but with a change this year. Child Care Program Request forms will be accepted until June 1 and placement will not be on a first come, first serve basis as in the past; a random process will be utilized on June 4. Currently, child care space is available in all programs. Forms are available here. They also are available in the elementary and middle school offices and the Extended Day office. 1. Plymouth Township board meets tonight

The Plymouth Township Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. today at to vote on demolition of an office complex at 42350 Ann Arbor Road in the township. The board also has a closed session planned to discuss pending litigation.
