5. 'Mirror Mirror' comes to Penn this weekend

Mirror Mirror, starring Julia Roberts, comes to the in downtown Plymouth this weekend. Showtimes are Friday at 7 and 9:05 p.m., Saturday at 4:45 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 4:45 and 7 p.m. It also will screen at 7 p.m. June 7. All seats are $3, and the PG-rated film runs 106 minutes. Big Miracle screens tonight at 7 p.m.

4. Farmers market resumes in Plymouth

Looking for fresh produce and locally created goods? The Plymouth Farmers Market resumes its summer schedule Saturday in its downtown Plymouth spot alongside . The market runs from 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

3. Garage sale today will benefit Homeward Bound Rescue League

Canton-based Homeward Bound Rescue League will have a today, Friday and Saturday to benefit the no-kill animal rescue. The garage sale will be held in a pole barn at 9563 Currie Road in Northville.

Funds raised from the event, which runs each day from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., to provide food, vet care, grooming and supplies for its dogs and cats.

The rescue will have its regular adoption event from noon-3:30 Saturday at the garage sale. No on-site adoptions will take place, but meet-and-greets and applications will be available.

2. Music in the Air continues Friday

The BelAirs will bring vintage rock flavor to downtown Plymouth on Friday for the second week of the Music in the Air concert series at . All concerts are free and open to the public. Food vendors are stationed on-site, and nearby downtown restaurants offer patio seating within earshot of the action. Arrive early: Parking is free, but spots near the park fill up fast!
