5. Great Lakes Regional Chili Cookoff

The Great Lakes Regional Chili Cookoff is 11 a.m.-5 p.m. in Kellogg Park in downtown Plymouth. Stop by to sample some chili and catch a glimpse of plenty of motorcycles. Awards are announced at 5 p.m. — we'll see if Plymouth-Canton Patch reader Tom Pardikes takes home top prize for his acclaimed chili!

3. Scarecrows in Kellogg Park

Twenty-nine scarecrows are up in Kellogg Park.  Groups, businesses and families build and decorate a scarecrow in Kellogg Park to be on display through Halloween. Take a walk down Main Street to see them and look for our very own Patch scarecrow!

2. Show your P-CEP school spirit

Plymouth beat Canton on Friday night, but don't let that be the lone factor in deciding bragging rights! We're running a photo competition to show school spirit between Plymouth, Canton and Salem that will run through Canton-Salem's Oct. 19 game. Upload photos showing school spirit for bragging rights!

1. Canton Farmers Market

Visit the Canton Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Preservation Park, 500 North Ridge Road. Shop for seasonal produce, farm eggs, honey, artisan cheese, marinades, blended teas, baked goods, natural soaps and more.
