5. Pumpkin Palooza is this weekend

Get into the Halloween spirit this Sunday in downtown Plymouth for the second-ever Pumpkin Palooza. The event runs noon-3 p.m., is open to all ages, and offers games, candy and activities throughout the downtown area. Look for Plymouth-Canton Patch's tent — we'll have games and prizes!

4. Downtown Development Authority Meeting Canceled

Canton Township's Downtown Development Authority board of directors meeting has been canceled. The next meeting will be 8 a.m. Nov. 14 in the Supervisor's Conference Room in the Canton Administration Building.

2. Door to Door Organics

Door to Door Organics will host a lunch and learn session 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Canton Public Library. This local business partners with local farmers and growers to bring fresh produce and groceries available in Michigan. Learn about eating organic and other fresh options.

The Plymouth Township Planning Commission will meet 7 p.m. in the Town Hall meeting room. All are welcome to attend.
