Yesterday's trivia answer: The Plymouth High School Class of 2006 came up with Predators, but ultimately decided on Wildcats for the nickname (though the logo comes from the NHL's Nashville Predators).

5. Plymouth Goodfellows meet tonight

Join the Plymouth Goodfellows as the group prepares for the forthcoming holiday season. The Goodfellows are seeking new fundraising and publicity ideas so they can continue to assist Plymouth families at Christmas time. The meeting is 7 p.m. at Plymouth District Library.

1. Old Village Halloween Haunted Block Party is this weekend

Plymouth's Old Village is getting into the spooky spirit this weekend with its sixth annual Halloween Haunted Block Party from 12-4 p.m. Sunday on Liberty Street between Mill Street and Starkweather. There will be costume contests for kids, pets and adults, as well as kiddie train rides, trick-or-treating, the Pumpkin Tower of Death, 50/50 raffle and pumpkin bowling.
