5. Plymouth at Livonia Churchill this Friday

Plymouth visits Livonia Churchill, 8900 Newburgh Road, at 7 p.m. Friday for second-round state playoff football action.

4. Prepare for windy conditions

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory Monday morning for all of southern Michigan, including Midland, Bay, Lenawee, Saginaw, Tuscola, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Wayne counties. The advisory is in effect until 5 p.m. today.

3. Trick or Treat at Summit is TODAY

Show off those great Halloween costumes from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday while you follow the path through theSummit on the Park from room to room collecting goodies and surprises. Each child 12 and under must have a ticket to participate, available in advance from the front desk at the Summit for $2, or $5 at the door.
