5. Restaurant Week Continues

Ten downtown restaurants will show off signature dishes for Downtown Plymouth's Restaurant Week, which began Friday and runs through Oct. 7. No tickets are required, but meals run between $15-35. 4. Plymouth vs. Canton this week

The cross-campus rivalry between Plymouth High School and Canton High School has heated up this week as fans await Friday's kickoff between the Wildcats and Chiefs. The game starts at 7 p.m. at the turf field at Plymouth-Canton Educational Park.

3. Plymouth Community Youth Advisory Commission seeks new members

The Plymouth Youth Advisory Commission is seeking new members. The group serves as a liaison between area youths and city officials to let entities such as the Plymouth City Commission know what the commission's peers would like to see in the city. The group also is active in community events and fundraisers.

All youth wishing to join must be in grades 7-11. More information, including how to apply, is available on the City of Plymouth website.

2. 'Your Money in the Balance' seminar at Plymouth District Library

Managing money isn’t easy. Thankfully, there is "Your Money in the Balance," a free educational series planned at 7 p.m. today at the Plymouth District Library.

This non-commercial financial education series is free to attend and free from sales pitches. Register with the library.

1. 'Frankenstein' comes to Penn Theatre

The classic monster film Frankenstein comes to life on the big screen tonight, starting at 7 p.m. Penn Theatre in downtown Plymouth. All seats are $3 and there is just one showing of the film.
