4. Warren Road May Open Soon
The construction north of Koppernick Road is expected to be completed by Labor Day, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation. This means it is possible Warren Road over Interstate 275 will be opened.

2. 'Moonrise Kingdom' screens this weekend at Penn Theatre
The Wes Anderson-directed dramedy Moonrise Kingdom screens at 7 and 9 p.m. today at the in downtown Plymouth. The film is rated PG-13 and runs 94 minutes. All seats are $3.
1. Great Lakes State Fair is under way
The Great Lakes State Fair is under way in Novi at the Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave. Attractions include a circus, midway, agriculture and livestock exhibits and performances from musicians and bands.
