5. Restaurant Week is here!

Ten downtown restaurants will show off signature dishes starting Sept. 28 for Downtown Plymouth's Restaurant Week, which runs through Oct. 7. No tickets are required, but meals run between $15-35. 4. Free Family Fun Night in Canton

Enjoy a stress-free evening of games, food and activities for all ages from 5 to 8 p.m. at Crosswinds Church, 46788 Cherry Hill Road. 

3. The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight Rises is playing 7 p.m. at the Penn Theatre. The film is 165 minutes and rated PG-13. 

2. Get a head start on National Coffee Day

National Coffee Day is Saturday, Sept. 29, but more than 8,000 participating 7-Eleven stores nationwide will give away a 20-ounce cup of coffee from 6 to 10 a.m. today.

1. Detroit Institute of Arts Inside | Out program

It's the last weekend to see pieces from Detroit Institute of Arts Inside | Out program. The program brings high-quality reproductions of masterpieces from the DIA's collection to the streets. Pieces are at places like the Canton Administration Building, Canton Public Library, Summit on the Park and The Village Theater at Cherry Hill.
