5. Restaurant Week is here!

Ten downtown restaurants will show off signature dishes for Downtown Plymouth's Restaurant Week, which began Friday and runs through Oct. 7. No tickets are required, but meals run between $15-35. 3. 'The Dark Knight Rises' continues at Penn

The Dark Knight Rises is playing 4 and 7 p.m. at the Penn Theatre. The film, which stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman, is 165 minutes and rated PG-13.

2. Run for the Rouge is today

There will be a 5K trail run/walk at 9:30 p.m. today along the Lower Rouge Trails in Canton to help support Friends of the Rouge.  Advance registration $25, $30 the day of the event (the deadline has passed to guarantee a t-shirt). Prizes will be awarded to male and female first, second and third places for seven different age categories. Day-of registration opens at 8 a.m. at Connections Church, 3855 South Sheldon Road, Canton.

1. Detroit Institute of Arts Inside | Out program

It's the last weekend to see pieces from Detroit Institute of Arts Inside | Out program. The program brings high-quality reproductions of masterpieces from the DIA's collection to the streets. Pieces are at places like the Canton Administration Building, Canton Public Library, Summit on the Park and The Village Theater at Cherry Hill.
