  1. Plymouth City Commission meets

The approval of events, including the Plymouth Farmers Market, Memorial Day Parade and a Knights of Columbus "Tootsie Roll Drive" are also on the table.

  2. Plymouth-Canton School Board will talk budget cuts

    The at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the in downtown Plymouth to discuss options to close a $17 million budget deficit for the 2011-12 school year. The board is expected to hear a presentation of the administration's recommendations for the cuts, decide on a layoff estimate and identify a school to be closed, if is chosen.

  3. P-CEP's marching band will hold an informational session

    The award-winning marching band at the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park is holding for interested students at 7 p.m. Tuesday at . Parents will also hear more about the ongoing fundraising efforts to send the band to New York at little or no cost to the families. The meeting will be held in the Plymouth High School band room (near the big yellow semitrailer).

  4. Plymouth Historic Commission meets

    The at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Plymouth City Hall. There is still no agenda posted on the city's website, but the HDC's job is to enforce the city's regulations on the appearance of buildings in the historic districts.

  5. A seminar will discuss sexual assault

    At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Giving Hope Women's Giving Circle will host an educational seminar titled: at the . With the warm weather and prom season right around the corner, the group invites people to learn what dangers exist and what you can do to defend yourself. The cost of the seminar is $10 per ticket, and it's free to anyone younger than 21 years old.
