Big Events This Weekend Near Plymouth-Canton

1. ShamRock 'n' Roll Run

  • When: Sunday, March 17, 2013, 7:00 am
  • Where: Kellogg Park, S Main St & W Ann Arbor Trl, Plymouth
  • What: This annual 10K, 5K and mile run takes place on St. Patrick's Day. Each race starts and ends in downtown Plymouth's Kellogg Park. Runners are encouraged to dress up in St. Patrick's Day-themed costumes and there is a costume contest judged in three categories: individual, partner and group. Judges will be looking for originality, authenticity, overall theme and craftsmanship, according to the race website.

2. Mentobe Music - Darwin Mamassian and Jen Lawson

  • When: Friday, March 15, 2013, 6:00 pm
  • Where: Mentobe Cafe, 33336 Grand River Ave, Farmington
  • What: Darwin Mamassian and Jen Lawson with special guest appearance by Jim Humphries will be performing at the Mentobe Cafe. Stop in for some awesome music and fantastic coffee drinks!

3. NHS Drama Club presents "Breakfast with Belle"

  • When: Saturday, March 16, 2013, 8:00 am
  • Where: Northville High School, 45700 6 Mile Rd, Northville
  • What: Bring your camera and join Belle, the Beast and many of your favorite characters for a pancake breakfast! Advanced ticket purchase is required. 

4. Moving Sale - Everything Must Go!

  • When: Saturday, March 16, 2013, 10:00 am
  • Where: 47780 Cheltenham Dr, Novi
  • What: A variety of items are up for sale including a Trudle twin Bed with back bookcase and Desk with side bookcase for $600, and toys, books, and music books (piano or violin).
