Food: Because appetites tend to be large at Kickers, they have incorporated that demand into their menu. Portions are bigger than those that would normally be found with bar fare, though the prices don’t reflect it. The menu is full of greats like burgers, sandwiches, pizza and a wealth of appetizers. But it’s not overloaded with choices. It offers simplicity and options for those who are looking to share several things.

Pricing: Because portions are so robust, costs can be kept to a minimum by ordering enough to sample, which gives everyone the opportunity to have something they like. Happy hour is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and includes $2.50 domestic drafts, $3 import drafts and 40-cent wings. Wednesdays offer $1 tacos, and Thursdays have $6 large cheese pizzas.
