Car Hauler Trailer Stolen from Penske

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

An unknown suspect stole a car hauler trailer between Oct. 22 and Oct. 26 from Penske Truck Rental, 13933 Eckles Road, according to a Plymouth Township Police report.

The Penske rental representative said the last time the silver 2012 Dempco car hauler was seen was noon Oct. 22, the report said. He said it was most likely stolen over night between when the maintenance shop closes at midnight and when the next shift comes in at 4 a.m., according to the report.

He said there are no security cameras on the premises and was unable to provide any possible suspects, the report said. The car hauler was stolen from the yard surrounding the building, according to the report.

Unknown Suspect Steals from Unlocked Vehicle

An unknown suspect stole items from a vehicle between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 23 and 6:15 am. Oct. 24 on Lindsay Drive, according to a police report.

The vehicle owner said someone broke into her gray 2008 Honda Fit and stole change, a black TomTom GPS and a keychain, the report said. She said the vehicle was parked on the west side of her home and that it was unlocked, according to the report.

The woman said her husband heard a noise outside their home at about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 23, the report said. The responding officer checked Leads Online but was unable to locate a TomTom GPS that was recently sold in the area, according to the report.
