DTE Powers Off 1,556 Customers Near Beck, Ann Arbor Roads for Repairs

DTE expects power to be restored to Plymouth, Canton customers within 30 minutes.

Update: 139 customers still are affected in Plymouth Township as of 2 p.m., according to DTE's outage map.

DTE intentionally interrupted service today for 1,556 customers in Plymouth and Canton, according to spokesman John Austerberry.

Customers surrounding Beck and Ann Arbor roads extending south near Warren Road currently are affected by the outage, according to DTE's outage map.

The interruption, Austerberry said, was to make an emergency repair to a line at Sheldon and Joy roads. 

Austerberry said at 1:10 p.m. he expects power to be restored within about 30 minutes.
