1. Cruz'n 528 Car Show

Car lovers, there are just a few more Wednesdays that you can motor over to the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 528's weekly car show. The show, 5 to 8 p.m. at VFW Mayflower/Lt. Gamble Post 6695, 1426 S. Mill St. (Lilley Rd.) in Plymouth includes a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, burgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks. Money from food sales benefits veteran relief efforts. DJ "KOZ" will provide the evening's musical soundtrack. 

2. Canton Idol Finale

Canton Idol's final round for middle school singers is 7:30 to 9:30 tonight at , 50400 Cherry Hill Rd. Prizes are $500, $300 and $200. Judges and audience members vote for their favorites. The entry fee is $8. For details, visit BeckRidge Chorale online.

3. Free Boot Camp

While is closed for maintenance — and installation of some new exercise machines — free boot camps are being offered at some township parks. Tonight's session is at , South Sheldon and Palmer roads, and starts at 7 p.m.
