Music lovers: head over to for the 's Winter Concert. Set for 7 tonight, tickets cost just $6.

2. Congratulations, Ralph Guastella!

Knights of Columbus No. 8284 Msgr. Kern Council has a new member: Ralph Guastella. He was inducted on Sunday. Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization which raises funds for a number of efforts, including Special Olympics.

3. Barnes & Noble Book Boost

is giving a big "thank you" to the employees and customers at Barnes & Noble Bookstore for donating 2,600 books to the agency. The books will be used in classrooms and families will get some new books during the holidays.

4. Talented and Gifted (TAG) Registration

Plymouth-Canton Community Schools is accepting nominations to screen students for admission to the 2012-13 Talented and Gifted program. Students must be in second through seventh grades and live within district boundaries to apply. Screening involves two phases of standardized testing. Nomination forms are available on the TAG website and must be submitted online by February 6, 2012.

5. Canton Newcomers and Neighbors Club

Ladies, if you are looking for a fun, free evening with other women, check out 's holiday dinner at 7 p.m. Wednesday. It's a ladies-only event but you'll find lots of future activities planned for couples adnd families. Wednesday evening's party is at the building, 45800 Hanford Rd. Yes, it's free.
