2. Plan ahead: Canton to play Detroit Catholic Central on road Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Canton Chiefs responded to a regular-season loss against Plymouth with a 24-21 win over the Wildcats to move on in the Division 1 MHSAA state playoffs. After Detroit Catholic Central routed Northville today, 56-6, Canton's next opponent was determined. The Chiefs will head to Novi to play Detroit Catholic Central at 1 p.m. Saturday.

3. Lowest gas price: $3.33

Despite what seems like a recent gas prices surge, fuel is still at $3.33 per gallon at two stations in Plymouth: Speedway, 1490 S. Sheldon Road and Marathon, 402 N. Mill St.

The runaway hit film The Help is coming to the on Thursday, starting at 7 p.m. The PG-13 drama runs 146 minutes. All seats are $3.
