Five Things You Need to Know — July 22, 2011

What every Plymouth resident should know today.

1. The Music in the Air concert series resumes at 7 p.m. today when the Gia Warner Band performs on the  stage. Warner is a nationally recognized songwriter, performer and voice artist, according to the Plymouth Downtown Development Authority website

2. There will be sidewalk sales in Downtown Plymouth from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

3. The welcomes Hand in the Ocean, Go Tiger Go! and Alejandra O'Leary at 8 p.m. today.

4. Looking for another way to beat the heat?  is offering open skating daily through Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Call (734) 453-8400 for skating fees and rental pricing.

5. Tonight at  Drive-In: Zookeeper (PG) is playing with Cars 2 (G); Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (PG-13) is playing with Green Lantern (PG-13) and Captain America: The First Avenger (PG-13) is playing with Transformers: The Dark of the Moon (PG-13). Updated listings are available at the drive-in's website. Tickets go on sale at 7:30 the night of the movie and all films begin at dusk (about 9:20 p.m.).
