1. Warm day, potentially rainy night

This afternoon will be sunny with highs between 82 and 86. Lows will fall between 66 and 70 with a 40 percent chance of rain.

2. Biakuye Percussion Group comes to Kellogg Park

The Biakuye Percussion Group will perform for free at noon today at as part of the Music in the Park free children's concert series.

3. Girl Scout book drive continues

Girl Scouts from local Troop 40196 are  to benefit Bennett Elementary School in Detroit. Because of a fire, Bennett lost its school library and the scouts are helping it rebuild its book collection. New or gently used books can be dropped in the donation box at the .

5. Drive-in movie theater has box-office hits

Tonight at  Drive-In: Zookeeper (PG) is playing with Cars 2 (G); Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (PG-13) is playing with Green Lantern (PG-13) and Captain America: The First Avenger (PG-13) is playing with Transformers: The Dark of the Moon (PG-13). Updated listings are available at the drive-in's website. Tickets go on sale at 7:30 the night of the movie and all films begin at dusk (about 9:20 p.m.). Ticket prices also are available at the drive-in's website.
