1. Plymouth Community Band performs

The Plymouth Community Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. today at , weather-permitting, for Music in the Park.

4. Girl Scout book drive continues

Girl Scouts from local Troop 40196 are  to benefit Bennett Elementary School in Detroit. Because of a fire, Bennett lost its school library and the scouts are helping it rebuild its book collection. New or gently used books can be dropped in the donation box at the . 

5. Drive-in movie theater has box-office hits

Tonight at  Drive-In: Zookeeper (PG) is playing with Cars 2 (G); Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (PG-13) is playing with Green Lantern (PG-13) and Captain America: The First Avenger (PG-13) is playing with Transformers: The Dark of the Moon (PG-13). Updated listings and prices are available at the drive-in's website. Tickets go on sale at 7:30 the night of the movie and all films begin at dusk (about 9:20 p.m.).
