3. It's a good day to fire up the barbecue. Today's forecast: Sunny during the morning and partly sunny during the afternoon. Highs 86 to 90. Light and variable winds becoming north 5 to 10 mph late. Partly cloudy, becoming mostly clear toward daybreak. Lows 63 to 67. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph, turning to east.

4. The  will screen Rio, an animated family film from the creators of Ice Age, at 7 p.m. The film is PG and runs 96 minutes. All tickets are $3.

5. Tonight at  Drive-In: Cars 2 (G) with Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (PG-13); Transformers: Dark of the Moon (PG-13) with Super 8 (PG-13) and Mr. Popper's Penguins (PG) with Green Lantern (PG-13).Tickets go on sale at 7:30 the night of the movie and all films begin at dusk (about 9:20 p.m.).
