1. Concours d'Elegance events begin today with auction, seminars

Concours d'Elegance events begin today at the . Check out the full rundown of today's events, including the car auction and seminars . For those not in the loop, the Concours d'Elegance is a prestigious car show that had been held at Meadowbrook Hall in Rochester Hills for several years before relocating to Plymouth Township this year. The main event for the show is Sunday. You can check out our preview . Hoping to explore Plymouth while you're at the event? There is a running on a continuous loop throughout the weekend between Old Village, downtown and the Concours d'Elegance festivities.

2. Pick up your tickets for Concours d'Elegance

Planning to attend  this weekend? See the map of businesses offering advanced ticket sales . Tickets cost $25.

4. Today's forecast: Mostly sunny

Today will be mostly sunny with highs of about 86 to 90 degrees, according to WeatherBug. Tonight will be mostly clear with lows between 63 and 67.

5. Drive-in movie theater offers double features

Tonight at  Drive-In: Captain America: The First Avenger (PG-13) with Transformers: Dark of the Moon (PG-13); The Smurfs (PG) with Zookeeper (PG) and Cowboys & Aliens (PG-13) with Bridesmaids (R). Check the latest listings at the drive-in's website. Tickets go on sale at 7:30 the night of the movie, and all films begin at dusk (about 9:20 p.m.).
